Hi, friends! Janelle here. Born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, I've been pursuing Journalism since the 1st grade morning announcements. Fast forward quite a few years, I packed up my stuff and headed to Florida State University (go Noles) to pursue my childhood dream. During my time in Tallahassee, I was a reporter and producer for Seminole Productions and sports intern for WCTV Eyewitness News. I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media/Communication Studies. 

After graduation, I headed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I started at FOX Sports Florida (now Bally Sports Florida) as a Production & Web Assistant, where I covered the Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami HEAT, Orlando Magic, Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning. I am now a Video Producer and Editor here at FOX. I've cultivated my own FOX Sports Florida web show, Covering the Bases, which I produce and host. You can also find me on the field or hardwood at the University of Miami, where I am an in-arena host for football and basketball. Just before baseball (and the world) shut down due the a global pandemic, I field produced for MLB Whiparound on FS1. In August 2021, I adopted some #HeatCulture into my life as I began working for the Miami HEAT as a producer for Inside The Heat. All in all, I am a lover of story-telling, buzzer beaters, OT goals, hail marys and walk-off home runs... also never met a pizza I didn't like.
